This is the blog I’m keeping for ENGL 3241, a class at my university that centers around technology in the English/Language Arts Classroom.
I’m 30, and I student teach next year in preparation to graduate with a degree in secondary English Education. It’s a bit of a midlife career change for me, but even though I’ll make less money as a teacher than I did in my previous career, I realized a couple of years ago that I wanted to have a career where I felt like I was doing something important with my life, where I could go home at the end of the day and know that I’ve done something to make the world better.
I keep a separate blog for my own personal use, but this blog is primarily concerned with the course I’m taking in technology in the classroom.
